Canes in Cannes

DAY TWO

IMG_6333 2.jpeg

The next day, we got ready for the walking tour of Cannes. I loved the architecture and the small streets and alleyways. It all felt so French and scenic. We stopped at a farmers market and tried mini strawberries, raspberries, and small red berries (I forget their name) that were fresh and sweet. The market had spices, fresh fish, and produce.

Afterward, we hiked to the top of a hill overlooking Cannes—the view was unforgettable. My friends and I took many pictures, which was fun. Later, we had free time for lunch and shopping at Mango and Zara. That night, we went to dinner at Lucia, easily the best meal of my life.  The restaurant had vibrant decor and was opening for dinner, which was exciting

We talked, ate, laughed, and had drinks before heading to an Irish pub and later meeting everyone at Chrysties. It was such a fun night; the atmosphere was electric, the music was great, and we danced all night. It was an awesome bonding moment for the group! Safe to say this was our favorite place for the rest of the trip.
