Below are some of my favorite sight-seeing spots during the trip and cool spots we went to during the festival.
Antibes
Specifically when we walked along this waterfront pathway to the Picasso Museum, the view was breathtaking and along the route there is a cute small french town which was cool to see. The whole location felt like the picture of the South of France.
Île Saint-Honorat
The day we went to Île Saint Honorat is a day that I will remember forever. The boat ride, the vineyard, the wine tasting, lunch, the water, all of it was perfect. Seriously one of the best days of my life and one of the prettiest places I have ever been.
Cannes Beach Clubs​
Throughout my time in Cannes my friends and I went to various beach clubs along the shore either to relax or have lunch and dinner. Such a cool experience and definitely a must do, I will say some places are more expensive than others so just look at the menus beforehand and the prices of a chair. If you find yourself in Cannes you need to go to Waikiki or Lucia for dinner and the Croisette beach club for a relaxing afternoon.
Womans Equality Lounge
This was my friends and I's safe haven during the festival. The lounge was on the rooftop of the Hotel Martinez and it was hosted by the Female Quotient and when I tell you they host an event RIGHT. The lounge had custom bag making, a coffee bar, fun happy hour drinks, makeovers, snacks, and massages all for FREE. I also got to meet and have small talk with so many incredible, influential woman in the industry. All while set at a gorgeous rooftop with an incredible view, by far my favorite scene of the festival.
PWC Yacht
If you go to the festival you have to attend a talk on one of the yachts simply for the experience. They have around ten or more yachts in harbor next to the Palais and it's really easy to sign-up for events and talks hosted on the yachts. I attended a talk on the PWC yacht that was focussed on AI and the talk ended up being really interesting. The talk was right before happy hour so they served us free Rosé, appetizers and macaroons while we listened. How many times can you say you are getting three class credits while sipping Rosé on a yacht.
